Matthew is a consultant to small businesses and has extensive experience in navigating operational, financial, personnel, and data analytics matters that help drive companies’ short-term and long-term strategies. Previously, he spent a decade as Chief Operating Officer of an independent trust company. He also held roles in investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance sectors where he facilitated mergers and acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
Matthew graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration (2001) and a Master of Accounting (2002). Matthew and his wife, Catherine, live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and have two children (13 and 11). Matthew enjoys serving at Hope Presbyterian Church and on the PassionLife board of directors.
