Travis Milks is a Managing Partner of Topmark Partners, a growth equity investment firm focused on high growth, technology-enabled businesses. Mr. Milks currently serves as a board member or observer at Topmark portfolio companies Case Status, Soundstripe, and Thrive. He also represents Topmark’s investment interests in CEIPAL. Mr. Milks previously held board director or observation responsibilities for Datasembly (sold to SPINS), YPrime (sold to a financial sponsor), Choice Legal (sold to ExamWorks), Tomahawk Robotics (sold to AeroVironment, NASDAQ: AVAV), and VectorLearning (sold to a financial sponsor).
Prior to joining Topmark, Mr. Milks worked in the Investment Banking Group at Morgan Keegan & Company. While at Morgan Keegan, he assisted clients from various segments of the technology marketplace including enterprise software, specialty semiconductors and security technologies. He also worked as a Summer Business Development Manager in the Online Services Division of Microsoft Corporation.
Mr. Milks’ community engagement includes serving on the boards of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (North Carolina) and Florida Venture Forum (Former Chairman). He is a previous board member of Tampa Bay Tech (Former Treasurer) and the Tampa Bay Wave accelerator. Mr. Milks is also a previous member of the Dean’s Advisory Council to the John H. Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa.
Mr. Milks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, with honors, from the University of Tampa and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
