Leah Wyrick, founder of Three Strands Recovery Wear, has been a cohort member of Winston Starts since 2020. Leah founded her company while a freshman in college at Wake Forest and has been a full-time college student and business owner for the past 4 years. Most recently, Leah was asked to participate in Wake Forest’s Benefactor Brunch where scholarship recipients and their donors have a chance to meet. Leah was chosen to speak about her unique story and how Wake Forest and Winston Starts played a large part in her entrepreneurial journey. Before graduating on May 16, 2022, with a B.S. in Business & Enterprise Management, Leah was awarded the Wake Forest Center for Entrepreneurship Senior of the Year award. She was recognized for her outstanding commitment and leadership towards bettering the lives of breast cancer patients and breast cosmetic patients through her product, the Resilience Bra.
